Alright, this will be the rules forum. Post here if you wanna make rules changes suggestions. These are the general guidelines of the guild, if you wanna join us
- The 21 days rule
We love our members to pieces. But, we have to draw a line. Thus, we have the 21 days rule. Should a member be inactive for 21 days, that character will be subject to being booted from the guild. It's 3 weeks, if you don't show up in that time, you're probably not getting on that character any time soon. Exceptions to the rule are
- Notification of possible M.I.A staus. If we know why you're gone, you're safe
- You've been active on a alternate character of yours.
- You have a really high standing / importance ot the guild and we don't want to let you go so easily
- Language
Things... get a little foul on our Gchat. You don't like crude language, or can't tolerate it, you were warned. We're primarily in the guild to have fun, and sometimes that involves being a little lude. Feel free to join and see how much the language bothers you, but you've been warned. Feel free to curse, just not too much. I'll allow it, I tend to do it myself sometimes. Just don't go overboard
- Gchat things you don't do
Threaten or verbally assault a member
Get into exceptionally sexual content
Begging (We have a guild bank for this kind of thing)
If you do these, I'll probably just tell you to stop over Gchat. Don't worry about breaking the Gchat rules, just don't do it again if I tell you not to.
- Contribution
If you join, I DO expect you to do something that helps the guild. I don't demand that people donate to the guild savings account, or that you go on every raid we do, OR that you be on at a certain time. What I do expect though, is that you do something. Help other guildies, contribute, and you'll probably get back just as much as you give. I reward contribution to the guild. Who knows, it might just help you get something over someone else when we're doing instances!
- Guild Raids
When I say raid, I don't mean we're going down to pick on stupid little Crossroads shits. I mean there will be a instance involved, and there will be killing things, possibly very big things. I'm talking anything from the Deadmines, to The Molten Core. Whatever we decide to do, it's not picking on n00bs. I set all loot rules ass follows...
1.) If you are not going to wear it, and it has not been detirmined to be a upgrade from something you are using, then you aren't getting it. People who will use the item will get it before you. If nobody is really going to use it, then nobody gets it from the instance. Instead, we send it to the guild bank so we can give it to someone who will use it, or so we can help someone with their in game needs. In return for not giving you the cash that the item was worth, I give you contribution points. I'll go over those later.
2.) Ninja looting WILL NOT be tolerated. Depending on what happened, you may lose rankings, contribution points, become suspended from guild activity, or I may go as far as having your ass booted from the guild. Believe me... if I have to do that, you probably won't have much luck finding a raid group for a while. I reserve that punishment for people who -really- screw up. I don't wanna give it out, so please don't make me
3.) You don't roll on items. You pass on them, there will be a discussion of what to do with the item, and then they are awarded. Sure, it makes guild raids take a little longer, but I would personally like to make sure that everyone gets some loot, that everyone is happy, and nobody is getting screwed over.
4.) Class sets will be awarded to that class, and ONLY that class. Unless for some reason that person should not get that item, then maybe someone else can have it. If the mage already has the magister helm, then that helm can go to someone else. If Shadowcraft helm drops, and there is no rogue, then someone else can have it. But otherwise... there needs to be a good reason for someone to get a set item that doesn't belong to their class.
5.) I'm saying this, just in case it needs to be said. Epic items WILL BE discussed THROUGHLY. It is not every day that a epic drops for people, and if someone gets it, it will be the person who needs the upgrade most. It will be the person who puts it to the most use. I've only ever seen 2 epic items drop in my career as Crosis, and although they should have been awarded to me, they were not. Both were ninja'd right out from under me. I will not have anything happen like that to my own guild members
6.) Our contribution points system works as follows. When a loot drops that needs to be discussed, usually I will look at who can use it most. Anyone who wishes to acquire this item may send a tell to me when I make the request. Once I know who all wants the item, I'll look over your gear and contributions. Then, I factor in need, contributions, or specific reasons for why a player should get that item, it will be awarded. Since our guild is relatively small, I'll be on the majority of raids.
- Classes
We will accept any and all classes. Just remember though, that when we take people on raids, the more people we have of that class, the lower your chances of being chosen become. I wanna give all members a fair opportunity to go on raids, and depending on your spec for talents, you may or may not go. Example being that a mage who is mainly fire talents, probably won't go to Molten Core with the guild too readily. I heard fire resistance was bad for fire mages.
I will add to this post as is necessary.
